Purpose:
The MBW type building external door and window insulation performance testing equipment fully complies with the new GB/T 8484 standard. Main Structure and Function of the Equipment
The equipment consists of the following parts

Environmental chamber
Constructed using 75mm thick, high-density, flame-retardant polystyrene sandwich panels, it has good insulation performance and thermal stability. The indoor space is equipped with air conditioning (provided by the customer), circulating fans, and heaters to provide a constant temperature environment for the entire testing device.
Hot chamber, cold chamber
The hot and cold chambers are constructed using 120mm thick polyurethane insulation boards, which have high thermal resistance and good insulation performance. The net size of the hot chamber is 2600mm×3200mm (W×H), with a depth of 2070mm. The distance between the outer surface of the hot chamber and the wall of the environmental chamber is greater than 500mm, and the hot chamber is equipped with a heating device. The net size of the cold chamber is 2600mm×3200mm (W×H), with a depth of 1235mm, and the cold chamber is equipped with a cooling device.
Hot chamber, cold chamber flow guide plate
Each of the hot and cold chambers is equipped with a flow guide plate, which is larger than the specimen size and maintains a distance of 150-300mm from the surface of the specimen frame, creating a uniform and stable airflow from top to bottom on the specimen surface. The flow guide plate adopts a folding structure, greatly facilitating the loading and unloading of samples and the arrangement of sensors.
Specimen frame
The specimen frame is set between the hot and cold chambers to support the specimen, with a thickness of 300mm. It uses polystyrene foam boards with good insulation properties on the inside, and the outer wall is covered with PVC boards to enhance the strength of the specimen frame. The size of the opening in the specimen frame can be customized according to the customer's sample requirements.
Filling board
Used to fill the space outside the specimen within the specimen frame, the filling board is made of extruded board with a thermal conductivity coefficient of less than 0.04W/(m.K), reducing heat conduction and heat loss between the specimen and surrounding walls. According to the new standard requirements, at least a 200mm wide filling board must be filled between the specimen and the specimen frame, with a thickness not less than that of the specimen.
Heating device
The heating device in the hot chamber uses a dry electric heater, which is stable and efficient, maintaining the hot chamber temperature between 19℃ and 21℃, simulating indoor winter environment temperature.
Cooling device
The cooling device in the cold chamber uses a high-power refrigeration unit, which forms forced convection through fans and flow guide plates, creating a stable airflow from top to bottom on the specimen surface, rapidly lowering the temperature in the cold chamber and maintaining it between -19℃ and -21℃, simulating outdoor winter environment temperature.
Humidity control system
A dehumidifier is set in the hot chamber space to control the humidity of the air in the testing device, preventing excessive humidity from causing frost or condensation on the specimen surface. It is also used for humidity control during the anti-condensation factor testing process.
Electrical control system
Composed of an electrical control cabinet, computer, temperature sensors, and control software, once the specimen and temperature sensors are installed, all testing processes are automatically completed by the control system, which outputs a testing report.
Product Features
Both the hot and cold chambers use 120mm polyurethane insulation boards, while the environmental space is constructed with 75mm thick, high-density, flame-retardant polystyrene sandwich panels. To ensure uniform insulation and minimize heat loss, it is required that during construction, both the polyurethane boards and polystyrene foam sandwich panels use a seamless construction process, with structural sealant used to seal the joints.
The partition wall between the hot and cold chambers is constructed with two layers of color steel plates with a 300mm thick high-density polystyrene foam board in between, and the specimen embedding frame is installed in the opening of the partition wall. The embedding frame uses PVC welding technology, greatly reducing heat conduction.
The cooling system uses a high-power refrigeration unit, which has multiple self-diagnosis protection functions such as overpressure, overheating, and low-temperature startup, with high temperature control accuracy.
Each of the hot and cold chambers is equipped with a flow guide plate to prevent hot and cold air from blowing directly on the specimen, ensuring more accurate measurements and compliance with new standard requirements. The flow guide plate adopts a folding structure, greatly facilitating the disassembly of the specimen and temperature sensors.
The automatic control system consists of an electrical control cabinet, computer, temperature sensors, and control software, automatically collecting data and calculating, making the testing process efficient and accurate.
Using high-precision temperature sensors, with over 200 temperature measurement points, the system operates stably and reliably.
